Kapton tape is a high-performance polyimide adhesive tape known for its exceptional heat resistance, electrical insulation, and chemical stability. Originally developed for aerospace applications, it is now widely used in electronics manufacturing, PCB soldering, 3D printer bed adhesion, and battery insulation.
This golden-amber tape withstands temperatures up to 260°C continuously and up to 400°C for short durations, making it ideal for masking during soldering, reflow oven work, and protecting sensitive components from heat damage.
